Original
signed woodcarving by Caricature Carver’s of America
founding member Gerald Sears. Gerald is a well-known
Ozark carver having carved at Silver Dollar City in Branson
for 25 years. His carvings are handled by Silver
Dollar City and other galleries in the Branson area. “Old
Friends” is a classic Sears cowboy scene. It
is done in basswood and is finished in light acrylic washes. The
overall dimensions are 11” high by 16” wide

Original
signed woodcarving by Caricature Carver’s of America
member Harley Schmitgen. Harley specializes in
human, free standing, deep relief, using 1” and
2” thick boards and making the carving appear as
if it is carved in the round. “Old Gus” is
a classic Schmitgen carving. It is in basswood
and is 13” high by 7” wide and 2” deep. He
is finished in light acrylic washes. Additional

Sabol
Original

member David Sabol. David is a traditional carver
who uses knives, chisels, and oil stains to create his
outstanding works. There is a unique quality to his
carving that has enabled many collectors and students of
woodcarving to easily identify his carvings. “Campaign
Rabbit” is a classic Sabol carving. The rabbit
is 10” tall, including the base. Additional

member Vic Otto. Vic is a long-time resident of Idaho
and an active participant in Pacific Northwest carving
activities. “Corner of Easy Street and Compassion
Way” is typical of Vic’s carving style. The
carving is in basswood and is 15” high by 11” and
8” deep. This scene is finished in light acrylic
