The Caricature Carvers of America (C.C.A.) will hold their Annual Meeting on September 21-22, 2012 in Sacramento, CA, at the California Railroad Museum.
You are cordially invited to join us Saturday September 22, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for an informal opportunity to meet CCA members and see the CCA's 1880's Train. An evening reception with light refreshments is also planned on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The evening event will include a silent auction of carvings donated by CCA members.
Both Saturday events will be held at the California Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento. Everybody is welcome. Admission to the museum is $9 per person; $4 for youth ages 6-17, and children 5 and under are free. The Railroad Museum is open to the public on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be no cost to attend the evening reception however you must RSVP to Joe You at joeyou1@comcast.net if you plan to attend the evening reception.
The CCA train will be on display at the California Railroad Museum (www.csrmf.org) for an entire year, beginning September 18th, 2012 through September 2013. The Railroad Museum has named the exhibit "Whittle Stop-A Cast of Caricatures on a Wild West Train."
