Raine. Doug, a former Air Force jet fighter pilot thinks big
when it comes to caricature carving. His “Referee” stands
to a height of 20”, including the base. Clearly signaling
a touchdown, the basswood carving is finished in light acrylic
washes.

David is a traditional carver who uses knives, chisels and oil
stains to create his outstanding works. There is a unique quality
to his
carving that has enabled many collectors and students of woodcarving
to identify his works at first sight. This whimsical Santa

Harley
is a well-respected carving instructor and woodcarving judge
who has
45 years experience in designing and carving both wood and stone.
He has won numerous awards for his unique style of free-standing
deep relief. This 2" deep relief carving titled "Two of
a Kind Make Quite a Pair" is typical of that style. It measures
15" tall including the granite and walnut base. It is painted
and shaded with a system that Harley co-developed using waterbased

Sears. Gerald is a well-known Ozark carver having carved at Silver
Dollar City, in Branson, for 24 years. His carvings are handled
by Silver Dollar City and other galleries in the Branson area.
This “Fence Settin” cowboy is typical of Gerald’s
style. This piece is carved in basswood and finished with light
acrylic

a preliminary coat of boiled linseed oil followed by sealing
