
Will
was born and raised in Virginia and North Carolina. He came to the
Pacific Northwest when he was assigned to Vancouver Barracks,Fort Vancouver
Washington while serving in the Army Medical Corps.Will is now retired both
from the work force and the the world of woodcarving as an active member
after more than thirty years of carving, whittling, shows, traveling,
judging and teaching. Having served a number of clubs in the local
area as President, showchair's and other fill in duties where and as
needed.
Will and his wife Kay,a noted bird carver in the NW, spend their days in
the shop, power carving at one end and whittling at the other. With a floor
covered with dust and chips. They still make a couple of show's a year and of
course the BIG one is the Columbia Flyway Show that Will started in 1988 here
