The Caricature Carvers of America will offer our immensely popular fall seminar in 2008 in Converse, IN. Mark your calendar for this 3-day session that will begin on Friday, September 19 and continue through Monday, September 21. The format will be similar to that used in previous years. The 3-Day seminar will be offered as three, 1-day sessions. Students will carve with each instructor for one day. Projects for this seminar will be posted here in the spring of 2008. The instructors for this program will be: Keith Morrill Harley Schmitgen Dennis Thornton Total enrollment will be limited to 39 students. Students will be placed into three groups of 13 on Friday morning. You will be able to carve with friends and relatives should you desire. Your group will stay together for the three days. There may be a small charge for blanks, but we will keep it to a minimum. Your seminar fee of $150 includes lunches. If your deposit check clears the bank your place will be reserved. If we are full when your check is received it will be returned and you will be placed on the waiting list. We will post information on motels and campgrounds, and directions for the actual seminar location in the spring. Since there are no motels in Converse, our students usually stay in Kokomo, about a 20 minute commute. If you are anxious to reserve lodging check the internet for Kokomo motels.
